About MMSEEK

Travel has become widely accessible today, yet many trips remain superficial sightseeing. There is an ancient Chinese saying: Reading ten thousand books cannot compare with travelling ten thousand miles. We believe the true purpose of travel is to encounter the real world. To deeply understand a place’s culture and daily life, no guide is better than a local resident.

Many parents hope to bring their children out to explore the world, but struggle to find trustworthy, professional experiences overseas. MMSEEK exists to solve this challenge: we carefully vet reliable local providers for families.

MMSEEK is developed by the Hong Kong Cultural Intelligence Research Centre. Rooted in cultural research and education, we are not merely a travel service. We build our platform around experiential learning, using travel as a medium so every journey carries educational value.

We also understand many destinations may only be visited once in a decade. Family bonding time is precious, yet parents also have their own interests and deserve personal downtime. For instance, a parent may want to visit a museum while their child prefers the zoo. We can arrange a local biology guide to lead children to discover native wildlife and ecosystems. This is not full-day childcare, but flexible time for parents to enjoy their own interests, without constant supervision duty throughout the whole trip.

Founded by the Hong Kong Cultural Intelligence Research Centre, MMSEEK primarily serves families from Hong Kong and mainland China, delivering high-quality parent-child experiential learning programmes across the globe. We also offer local experiences in Hong Kong and mainland China to welcome overseas families and foster cross-cultural exchange.
